A fair review – pros and cons

The park view from my room was breathtaking! The friendly staff truly enhanced our experience, and the onsen was delightful, providing a wonderful way to unwind after visiting the nearby attractions.

Though the interiors were rather dated, the dining options could definitely have been more enticing. we found the buffet selections somewhat underwhelming compared to the rest of our stay.

Curiosity got me

Situated just a 3-minute walk from Huis Ten Bosch, the location is simply fantastic. The twin room offered stunning park views, especially at dawn. The staff were exceptionally helpful and the hot spring was a delightful bonus. Breakfast included diverse options, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel is conveniently located near the theme park.

On arrival, I found bits of hair on the bathroom floor, indicating inadequate cleaning. Additionally, the bathroom did not meet my expectations, with gaps around the bathtub allowing water to seep through and a malfunctioning shower curtain. The noise from neighboring rooms made relaxation difficult, with children running around above me during the night.

No laundry service offered, but the hotel is super spacious and has breathtaking views.

Just a decent option for a weekend pause in Sasebo with good value considering the price it charged. The room was spacious for Japanese standards, which made it comfortable for our family. Keep an eye on the check-in time, as luggage is taken to the room after 3pm.

Conveniently located near a theme park and the train station, the hotel offers spacious rooms that exceed Japanese standards, ideal for families exploring the area. A major highlight is the onsen, which provides ample space for relaxation despite being a popular facility. The buffet breakfast featured a variety of options, adding to the overall enjoyable experience, though the dinner buffet could use more enticing offerings. Early check-in was a plus, but inconsistency in room readiness could be improved.

I had a fantastic stay for 4 nights! The onsen was such a delight and offered a great experience, while the dinner buffet was surprisingly delicious. Just a slight downside was the lack of a gym.

Free Wi-Fi and 24-hour reception were great. Room a bit dated, though.
